Start scanning immediately. The best way to learn is to do. Complete hands-on training course followed up by support. With your own portable probe and our comprehensive software, you can scan anywhere at anytime.
Proven methodology. NAV software is used to teach ultrasound. You take it with you for continued learning anytime, anywhere. Commit to finding 3 things a day. Gradually your skills and confidence increase.
We use a teaching model pioneered by NYAGI, 7D Imagings nonprofit partner. The NYAGI Project utilizes and intensive “learn by doing” approach that was tested and refined with medical professionals around the world.
7D IMAGING uses the NYAGI Approach. A proven method used in remote areas of the world as well as universities, hospitals, and clinics throughout the U.S.
At each site with each group of healthcare professionals, the NYAGI team of experienced sonographers hosts a week of intensive hands-on learning. Participants are introduced to the basics of ultrasound and how to use the iPad-based software provided by 7D Imaging. They “learn by doing” ultrasound, quickly transitioning from assisted to independent scanning.
Each new ultrasound champion we help to create is left with an iPad loaded with the complete 7D Imaging NAV™ software suite. This point-of-care resource empowers the participants to continue independent learning and to share the knowledge and skills with colleagues. NYAGI works with local in-country partners to support leads trained as ultrasound teachers. NYAGI can also provide remote training webinars and access to an educational video library where bandwidth allows.
Dedicated to the highest standards in healthcare and patient safety, NYAGI works with Inteleos’ POCUS Certification Academy™, a non-profit global certification organization that delivers rigorous assessments, cultivating a global community of ultrasound excellence. After the field work, we follow up with our new ultrasound champions and make sure they’re continuing to grow and learn. This way we are able to evaluate if the NYAGI approach is working as well as possible to elevate the entire healthcare system in the countries we work in.
